Longwood Day of Giving – FAQs
1. What is Longwood’s Day of Giving?
Longwood’s Day of Giving is a 24-hour fundraising celebration—February 18–19, 2026 (noon to noon)—that brings together alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends to support the areas of Longwood they care about most. It’s our largest annual giving initiative and a time for the entire Lancer community to come together and make an impact.
2. Who can participate?
Everyone! Alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends are all encouraged to participate. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference.
👉 Visit dayofgiving.longwood.edu between noon on February 18 and noon on February 19 to make your gift.
3. Why should I participate?
Private support helps fill crucial funding gaps and provides resources where they’re needed most. Every dollar raised during Longwood Day of Giving supports our students—through scholarships, research, athletics, and academic programs. Collectively, these gifts open doors, create opportunities, and strengthen the Longwood experience for generations to come.
